EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPMENT, TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS SUPPORTING THE MAIN EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

This article contents experience of use and description of tendencies of educational information systems extension with emphasis on institutions of higher education. In the context of the emergence of new educational needs, changes in the principles of access to knowledge, including the requirements to generalize existing ones and introduce new approaches to formalizing and systematizing data collection and accumulation, taking into account the specifics of a particular field of education, it becomes urgent to introduce information systems for supporting the educational process and to realize the needs of a single organization educational information space both at the level of a particular institution and the educational system as a whole. As a result of the analysis of components of the main educational process and the field of educational information systems development and deployment within creation of a common information space, authors state a relevant problem of information processes formalization and specification of discipline programs creation with the subsequent development of a universal information systems component.
