Abstract
This special issue of the scientific journal "Modern Information Technologies and IT Education" is dedicated to the memory of Professor of Nizhny Novgorod State University Victor Pavlovich Gergel – an outstanding scientist in the field of parallel computing, software engineering and supercomputer technologies.
