The issue of the journal is timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. In its half-century history, the Faculty of CMC MSU is the country's leading research and educational center, known for its scientific achievements and the best system of training of scientific personnel and higher-level specialists in such fields as applied mathematics, fundamental informatics, programming, computing and information technology. Following modern trends, the faculty is constantly being updated and, while retaining the leadership in its traditional fields of science and technology, at the present stage it focuses on research and educational activities in artificial intelligence, big data analytics, systemic cybersecurity, convergent explosive technologies of the digital economy, confirming the role of a leader of Russian education system in the field of fundamental pillars of the development of the world economy.
